As a Therapist
My clinical focus is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to help individuals and couples who feel alone in their feelings, gain insight and develop skills to live a more harmonious and fulfilling life. Whether this means breaking patterns, fostering self-development, learning to have more connected relationships, or just getting through a challenging phase of life, my goal is to support you on your journey of bettering your life and creating new patterns of meaning. I believe we all have the strength, skills and grit, to heal, grow, change and create the life we want for ourselves. I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
My journey
Born and raised in Southern California, I left my home town for San Francisco, where I got my BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley. After graduation, I spent several years working in restaurants and snowboarding, before moving to LA to write scripts and co-create a female comedy troupe that led to a stint on a traveling talk show doing a weekly segment. Eventually, I landed in real estate and spent the next 15 years building that career. While I was very successful in real estate, I knew I wanted to create deeper meaning and enter the therapy world. Feeling older, wiser and like I was ready to add my value, I returned to school to get my MA in Psychology and started practicing. I am completely at home in my therapy work. This is my wheelhouse, and while I have no regrets about my journey, I finally feel I am now home living the life that was meant for me.
